Typed type says you bought something. Hand lettering says you made something. I draw custom lettering for logos, packaging, campaigns and window graphics, giving small businesses a voice that cannot be downloaded by a competitor the following week.

• Packaging and labels where the lettering has to survive being shrunk onto a small jar

How the artwork arrives

Lettering is drawn by hand, then refined and supplied as clean vector and high resolution files so it reproduces cleanly at any size, from a business card to a shop front. You get the working files, a note on the colours used and clear guidance on minimum sizes and clear space.

Working alongside designers

I regularly work as the lettering half of a larger project, drawing the wordmark or headline while an agency or in house designer handles the rest of the identity. If you already have a brand you like, I can letter within it rather than around it.
