This policy explains what Handlettered by Naomi does with the personal information you share through this website. It is written to be read rather than to be survived.

What is collected

When you complete the enquiry form, the details you enter are collected: your name, email address, telephone number if you give one, the type of project, any date you supply and the message you write. Nothing else is gathered about you.

Why it is collected

Your details are used for one purpose only, which is to answer your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to deliver the commission you have asked for. The lawful basis for this is your consent when you submit the form, and legitimate interest in responding to a genuine business enquiry.

Who sees it

Your enquiry is read by Handlettered by Naomi and nobody else. Details are never sold, rented or passed to third parties for marketing. Information is stored securely in the website content management system and in email.

How long it is kept

Enquiries that do not become commissions are deleted after twelve months. Where a commission goes ahead, records are kept for six years so that accounting and tax obligations can be met.

Cookies

This website uses only the cookies needed to make pages work and to measure how many people visit. No advertising or tracking cookies are set, and no profile is built about you.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to see what information is held about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Write to hello@handletteredbynaomi.co.uk and the request will be dealt with within one month. If you are not satisfied with the response you can complain to the Information Commissioner at ico.org.uk.

If this policy changes the revised version will appear on this page. It was last reviewed in 2026.
